Sometimes we want to slow our readers down. Other times we want them to speed up. In these instances, a great way to drive the reader forward in your book is to use page turns.
Ending a page on an interesting or suspenseful moment will help force your reader to move to the next page. You don’t need to force every turn, but at peak moments in your narrative, you’ll find it helps a lot.
